
General Mokoko, arbitrary jailed since june 2016, is going to face an unfair trial starting on May 7th, 2018. He was candidate in the marred 2016 congolese presidential election. The Congolese judiciary system is well known for not being independent and local NGO’s denounce several political prisoners.
This May criminal session is also going to examine the case of General Norbert Dabira, suspected of “Attempt to state security” and Jean-Martin Mbemba & co. case, the 15th and the 17th of May, respectively..
On February, 13rd, 2013, Eric Souami , prosecuted in the Jean-Martin Mbemba case, died in prison from the torture he had been inflicted.
